Quiet days at home..

Back from Birmingham there has been some quiet days at home... Thinking and remembering all the fun I was a part of.With about 1000 Quilts to look at and 300 shops to look in keept me busy.
This time I hoped to manage to look all over, but I realy don't know if I manage that.
I had promise some of my friends in Australia to look for Quilts from "Down under" and I found a lot beautiful from there..
Just take a close look...

I found some tiny Quilts too...
A great miniature...
Luke Haynes had a lot of big beautiful Quilts there too. I have seen some Quilts made by him on FB and in magasines and was looking forward to see them in " real life". Even got more fan of hvis work now.. :-)
Another Quilter I was looking forward to see more from was Annabel Rainbow. I saw some of her Quilts last year ,and want to see more. These two artist are so diffrent, but their Quilts make me look more than one time...
This are one of Annabel Rainbows work..I love the look of this little girl... And the way she use words and stories in her quilting...

Here are the EQA Quilts from Norway.. My Elvis was in the building :-)
Home from Oslo and Birmingham I found these treasures in my suitcase. Most of them from Birmingham but the four pattern from Kathy Schmitz are "a must have" Anne Heidi at Lappemor help me to get :-) Thank you Anne Heidi ! Lot of fun stuff to play with during fall and winter....
I had a little bit of Annabel Rainbow with me home too... Two copies of her Quilts made in to tea towels. They are not for use..!! They are to look at and remember the days at the festival of quilt, the walking around, some time all by my self, sometime two and two. All the "look what I found....and where did you got that ...and you must come with me and see this "when we meet for lunch. All the talking and laughing at dinner in the evening.. And not to forget hos proud I'm of two of the girls who made clothes for the Festival Fashion Show.
After coming home I have been playing with Magda and Grethchen and we manage to finish my Natures Journey by Hatched and Patched. I started this quilt as a part of Donnas SAL ,and now it is done and ready for use on cold days :-)
Thank you Donna for hosting the SAL and Anni for the pattern.

See you soon... Hugs :-)
