In the middle of the nigth...

Yes I have been at the Annual Quiltmeeting and I know I promise to take a lot of photos, but sorry to say I didn't. So if yoy want to see a lot of great work, take a look at May Britts blog... She are sooo clever with the camera. All I did was to talk with all the other ladies and buy items I didn't know I need... But I got a lot of great buyings. I got me some books and patterns I hopefully want to make something from...
And lovely fabrics I need for a project. Lisbeth (no blog) and I are going to bring this little quilt with us to Gøteborg at the NQT meeting in May. Great to have some stitching to do in the evening. It is a Gail Pan pattern from Country Thread.
I also got this kit from Quiltegården. Their own pattern of a great tablerunner and cloth. I know I will start to make the tablerunner soon. I need a new one for spring.
I even got my self a new BOM.Autumn Houses from Bunny Hill Designs.I know there was a lot of us ladies who just had to have this quilt. I have started on the first block, but it is one of my "take it slow and enjoy" work. ;-)

Beeing almost in Oslo, Lisbeth and I went to visit my oldest daugther. And I had to ask her to show Lisbeth the quilt I made for her some years ago... It was so fun to see all the old fabrics once again. Sometimes I'm thinking about making another quilt like this one..... but it has only been in my mind yet...
I have done all my March goal.... Block 5 on Polka Dott Girls are done... only 3 more to do... Done by summer. It is so fun to stitch this little "pictures"
I realy did all my little BOM's this month as vel.... so now April just have to come. I'm ready to stitch..... Sunbonnet Sue I buy from Little Quilts some times ago, and April is the last month I have to stitch. All the others are done and ready to put together.... The three other blocks I think you all know, great little BOM's from lovely ladies on the net. I wonder how the quilts are going to look like in the end.....
Jacob are waiting for spring.... He has learn from Cyan, my daugthers cat, to sit on the stove and warm hes feet... To day it has been a lot of weather and cold in the house. It has been snow, rain and wind.... great spring weather.... So I understand him. I have no socks to put on his feet... Poor bird ;-)
But thinking again I don't think the chocolate thief need socks. Jacob belive in helping himself- just go and get a piece if no one offer...

Untill next time; have great days and grab some chocolate...
I'm off to bed now, even if it is summertime I have to sleep a little....

Challenge...

I have manage to finish my Noah's Ark.It is all made with old Debbie Mumm's fabrics, and of course I hade to use the Noa's Ark fabrics as a border. all the borders around the little blocs was a little bit, or a lot, hard to put to gether. Not all are the same size, but it is Mine and I like it. So thank you Lynette for making this great little BOM. ;-)
This is the reason why I call this a challenge... I was challenget by May Britt this weekend to make this bag for the NQF's annual metting next weekend. And of course I had to take the challenge. So now I sit with wounded fingers and tired back, but SOOOO happy. I got my self a new handbag. May Britt has done her as well. Pop over to her blog and have a look. It is a new pattern from Red Brolly named the Gingham Girls.I loved to make it, but it was a lot of work. I have a lot of pockets in it.
It will be so fun to bring it to the meeting, and I can't hardly wait to see our bags together....

Untill next time ; have fun... Hugs.

Birds life....

Some weel ago I got mail from my friend Irene. She had taken a photo of a little owl. (spurv ugle)
It is not usual to get visit from owl's in brigth day ligth, but this little fellow hunt by day time. Irene was sooo happy about the visit, untill she looked closer on the photo and notice what it was doing.... It was eating a bullfinch...Then the owl was not such a great visit at the birdhouse any more....

Some days ago I suddenly heard a "bump" in my window. When I went to see what it was I saw a realy happy titmouse. It was hiding in the rose-bush and seemd VERY happy. ;-)
Because in a bush close by I saw "the bumper" - a little owl. When I knock on the window it gave me a "I hate you"-look. :-) I don't think he feel as happy as me and titmouse ,about not getting any dinner.

I wonder if there has been owl out in the garden before? I can't find no other explanation why Jacob are hiding like this on the sofa. It seems as it has been in a hurry and he even try to hide under a towel.
It is not easy to be a little bird.
I have done block two of the BOM from the Book club.Look how sweet all the animals are. Every one has got a sweetheart.

My first Chalenge of the month are done. A miniature from years ago. I made it from a magnet my oldest daugther bought on a vacation. The cats are looking at the moon and havin g a great time....
Last week I got the last parcel from the Christmas club 2008.This kit from Leannes House. I think this will be so nice to decorate for Christmas with. I realy hope the Team at Honeysuckle Cottage are doing a club like this some other year. I got a lot of great kits. ;-)

The last weeks I got a lot of new books. Some in mail and some buying at Quiltegården when I was in Trondheim last week. So now I got more to read and dream to make.....
I have a lot of UFO's to finish , so I don't need more, but it seem as when one are done there are some strange thing happen.... I got at least two more... Wonder what happen next- my Noah's Ark are almost done.....

Any way- have a great week. I will sit in the snowy weather and do UFO's
Hugs :-)
