Pay It Forward

I saw that Gail had sign up The Pay it Forward , so I deside to join in to.
It’s the Pay It Forward Exchange. It’s based of the concept of the movie “Pay it Forward” where acts or deeds of kindness are done without expecting something in return, just passing it on, with hope that the recipients of the acts of kindness are passed on. So here’s how it works. I will make and send a handmade gift to the first 3 people who leave a comment to this post on the blog requesting to join this PIF exchange. I do not know what that gift will be yet, and it won’t be sent this month, probably not next month, but it will be sent (within 6 months) and that’s a promise! What YOU have to do in return, then, is pay it forward by making the same promise on your blog.
So if you are game and want to join in just let me know. ;-)

Two more WISP's

Yesterday I mange to get one more of my WISP's ready. So now Little Sis just have to be hung on the wall. Thanks to May Britt who make me do some of my verry old wisp's. I had to machine quilt or else it have been lying in my closet with the others of my "forgotten"wisp's.
I machine quilted this little tumbling blocs quilt too. And to day I got it all done. Two WISP's in one week. WOW I feel great. Now I think I almost deserve to start on a new item.....To tell the true....I have ordered some new pattern from Bee Sew Whimsal. It is Truly Scrumptious from Chinderberry Stitches. All the pattern are so great. I have started on the first block, but not started to stitch yet. I will show you how it turn out next time...Promise.
To day I have been playing with my sewing machine.....and I made this . In norway we call them "bøssposer"They are to carry around where you are going to sew so you can put all your smal treads and other left over from your project in it. (so now they are not turning into dust-rabbits any more. I hope. )

This mornig I took this photo of Jacob having his breakfast. He love to taste a pice of my bread. He just want the seeds in it. I use sunflower-seed when I make bread and guess who just love it.He does not look to happy to be catch with a full beak. :-)

Untill next time have a great time and some lovely quilting time...

One WISP done

After I have removed all my Christmas decorations,I have found all my snow peopels. The quilt are from a Thimbleberry club some years ago.
I have manage to have one of my WISP's ready. It is the Jacob-quilt.I took it for my first project......And now it is done. Puh- I feel great.
I have been looking true all my old (realy old) wisp's and I found some who didn't need to mutch work. Once I have thought to hand-quilt them. But now I have decided to quilt them on my sewing-machine. I must realize I have not time to hand-quilt everything. This quilt are a verry old one called Little Sis.
And this are a outcome after playing with leftover from a class where we made Thumbling Blocks using the sewing machine.I tryed diffrent block's. I opened the top on some and even made some who you can see through. It was realy fun to make this little quilt, but hard to get quilted.....;-)
At last to day I want to show our house..... we got snow. Lot of snow and more a falling from the sky just now......

Have a great day and take care...

May britt has started a January- finish it up-challenge,and I have decide to joy in. Actual I have a lot of WISP's lying around. But I have to start with some, these where the luckey one....
The first are what I got for Christmas from my friend Bjørg. Not a old one, but I love to have made it.
The second one are a little quilt from Art-to-Heart. And it needs to be done fast.
The third one are a little quilt with a stitchery made special for me by Leanne Beasley when she was here in Trysil. It is my parrot Jacob, both on the stitchery and on the photo.
I would love to have the three of these WIPS done by January.May be I even got time to finish a few more..... There are a lot to pick from..... ;-)

I have also add Hannes badage on my sidebar. I realy need to reduce my stash. My number one goal are to make quilts from the fabrics I got and only buy fabrics I REALY needs, untill the annual meeting in NQF. It start on the 4.of April. Then I have to allow meself to by what I want, if I have been clever.
So I have to tell you I have to tighten the control of my buyings.
