Almost Spring ?

I have at last got my first part of the Spring Fling Round Robin ready and send it out in the world. Everybody make so great start blocks so I have a hard time to deside if it would pass or if I should make a new one....but it was my first choice so I let my little darlings out on them self. I hope the one who get them take god care and have fun . I have got a wonderful block from a lady and are thinking what to make next on it.....
Yesterday my husband and I went to Oslo to visit Nemo and her boy friend. Our oldest daugther paid a little visit to. It was a beautifull day. Here are a photo ,taken from the car,of Mjøsa. The biggest lake in Norway. It was so great to see the blue sky, the sun and the ground without snow.
I want to be able to walk outdoors in shoes and not to have to wear ankle boot any more...( snow, snow go away.... ;-)
In Oslo we went to a market. It was a lot of peoples and plenty to look at....I found something I just needed....
I got myself a Chinese box to put next to some of my pincushions. And some smal cups with saucers....So if anyone want a smal cup of coffee, please come. A friend of me say, when I told her,I know a girl who could need sutch a little cup..... She never drink all her coffee... ;-)
I also got myselv a new (old) sewing maskine.Isn't it just great. I have wanted some of these for a long time and now I got one... It is in good shape and have all the sew feets in the little scoop.
I have not tryed it yet, but I will soon.

Last week I got the second parcel from the Christmas Club 2008. A great kit made from a Hatched and Patched pattern. My goal are to make them all when I got them....
I also got a fat quater who I won on Fabrics Mom's blog. It is great and I have to use it for somthing specialy......
I got a wonderfull flower from my friend Lappehøna this weekend. Look how great they are out in the snow. They are outside during the day, but rest inside in the night. I'm afraid it will be to cold. Now you can see why I want to get rid of all the snow. I long to have more flowers....Pouring...pouring...
I must show you the newest member of our family....My oldest daugther's cat, Cyan. She are so sweet...they are coming to stay some days during Easter. It will be so fun and wonder what it will be with Jacob and her. They have not meet yet....A lot of No and Ups I think.....
Now I will be doing some bindings on some quilts. I have been working on some of my WISP's these days ..... I feel so clever... ;-)
I will show you next time. Have a great Easter...

Because I have been in your wonderful country ten years ago; at the moment, I haven't began quilting and haven't visit those shops which seem so attractive...
I particularly love Alta, Drobak and his wonderful Julenissen home and post office where I wrote every year when I teached in kindergardens, Bergen, Stavanger, Lofoten islands without wales what a pity for my daughter who was 5 years old, reindeers, the great landscapes, and so on but NOT the middges!!! I met them...and seemed Elephant man, sorry woman, for two weeks...
I love your little darlings!
Have yourself a happy Paska!!!

Your block for the round robin is so pretty - it is going to make a wonderful quilt. I also loved all the other things you showed us - the sewing machine, the tea cups, etc. If I come over, you may just have to refill that cup for me many times!
