Treasures

I have got a lot of new and a little not quite new treasures.... Emma is one of the precious one. Here she are 6 weeks old on her new crab-quilt. It is fun to make a little quilt and hope it not will last for ever- so I can make some new one. I got at last two on my mind....

I have got the first pattern of The Gingham Girls BOM. The new one from Red Brolly... I cant stop making her great pattern. Or more correct - starting on project after pattern from her. It seems a little more difficult to finish them. But I'm working on Polka Dot Girls- only two more month to make..... Slow but steady progress.... I have not started on this yet- but I have to look if there where some DMC thread on my must get list.......
I got the first block on A Kittens Tale done, only missing the Yoyo's. It is a BOM from Lynette Andreson. A lovely quilt with lot of cat's and dog's.... I got my kits from Quiltegården.I have done a lot on block two, so I'm still working on this BOM. I love to collect BOM's...... In fact I don't dare
to count all my started BOM's. I wonder if I'm the only one who collect BOM's...
Speaking abouth treasures.... Lapphøna and I went to Vikingskipet to collector marked some week ago- we where looking for thimbles. These are my new treasures...Some just for fun, some because I liked them and some fore old and not so old memories....Finland because I didn't know I was collecting thimbles when I was there on NQT three years ago. Diana in memory of her - and Elvis for all his great songs.... and so on...
I have seeb these Scrap bags on other blogs- and as I love small fabrics I realy NEEDED some of them. So now all I have to do are to find out what to do with them.....They are filled with great Moda scrap....Some of the pattern I know and some are all new to me. Fun ;-)
Cyan and Jacob are keeping us quite busy with all theirs ideas... Here in a quiet moment, sometimes Jacob are chasing Cyan , and sometimes it is the other way round... They realy know how to keep us busy... Luckily no one has been hurt, only some flowers who suddenly need new flowerpot....

I have been a lazy blogger the last months..... And I won't promice you a new report for a week or so.. I'm going to Sweden and Gøteborg on NQT. Wonder if I will meet some from blogland... I you see a Norwegian lady with her hands deep in her pockets, trying to convincing her self NOT to buy somthing , it may be me...So please say Hello and help me keep my purse closed...
Just kidding- of course I'm going to shop, but hopefully only items I belive i need.

Untill next time - Have fun ;-)

I certainly don't think you are the only person to collect B.O.M. I have to admit to a fairly large collection as well. Have just finished Polkadot Girls (not quilted yet) & am sewing several others. Love your quilt & your granddaughter

Little Emma looks so sweet on her quilt. I'm sure she will need more so break into those scrap bags!

I couldn't see Jacob in the pic until I enlarged it. Then I laughed because I found him peeking out of his little house.

Fine fingerbøl du har kjøpt deg. Var ikke i Vikingskipet nå selv om jeg bor like ved, men har selv kjøpt mange fingerbøl der tidligere. De er fine samleobjekt. Ha en fin uke :-)
