I have been a lazy blogger lately.... soory, but it feel like the fog has gone on my brain.. For some week this is all I have seen of my part in the world...So as a result I have been messing around in a verry small space....
But now the world have opend, some times at least. And look how great it is with the white snow all over... It is almost so I need to take a walk in the snow...Last week Lapphøna and I went to Trondheim to visit my parents.... And we went from snow and ice to this...
No snow on the ground and what I will call -Fall. We went to spend a day in town and started with Nidaros domen. I have shown photos from it before. ( When Abyquilt where in town) I have to admit I was more clever to talk and catch up news both from Siw at Quiltegården and Christell from Jordbærstedet than to take photos, so I hope they will blog what they told me. Siw has been in Houston.... Luckey girl. And Christell has had a visit from Natalie Bird. Oh I wish I could had meet her...( But luckey for me my mother did) I got her book- From my Heart -with her signature in.
One thing I remember- was to take photos of my mother's dolls. She are a dollmaker, she make the doll from when it is clay and all the way t the doll are all dressed up. She got a lot of great dolls in a glass-cabinet.Here are some of her Norwegian Bunad dolls. All parts of Norway have their own Bunad (National costume)I belive I know these...The black one are from my part of Norway- Trysil, (I konw that LOL) The one with the brown apron I belive are from Røros, the blue one from Trøndelag(Trondheim ? )The boy with red vest are a boy from Trysil. The dark green with appels on the skirt are from Lier.... that is what I belive I know... the others I dont dare to quess about. But they are beautifull.
Here are some more. From diffrent parts of the world... One Indianer girl, one Same girl one beggar ( in my old green shawl made in my old shool days ) and a lot more dolls....
Here are two little girls on the run outside the cabinet.May be they are of to meet the winter...
In Trondheim we were so luckey to be able to meet Sølvi. She came with us to Syskrinet at Heimdal where she lives. I manage to take some photos from the shop. But it seems quite empty, everybody in the store went behind me when I tryed to take a photo..... LOL But it will show some of all the great model's. I think I have to go back when I return.
A lot of things I would love to do here.... Thank you Sølvi for bringing us and the great visit at your home. It was so fun to get to know you a little.... I hope to meet you next time I visit Trondheim.
I manage to take one photo from Nidaros domen. This is the sun shining through the opening in the wall to courtyard.
I have not done mutch stitching lately, but my two small BOM are done...Noah's ark and Sunbonnet Sue.
And I have got me some new thimbles and small items... The thimble with Bybroen and the viking I got in Trondheim. In a stall at the market place close to Olav Trygvason statuen.... If there are someone else who wants one ... The one in the middle I got from my friend Lisbeth , it is from her hollyday stay at Gran Canaria. The one with Elg I got from Vigdis and the last one I got from Reidun, she has been in Tallinn. Thanks to you all dear friends. You are soooo kind to me. Hugs.
Ups... Did you want to see my buings also... Ok I got some great fabrics...Some I got from my mum, some at Jordbærstedet and some at Quiltegården. ( Siw even let me buy some of the fabrics for my Wish quilt. Thank you , Siw) I got a tie looking as a tape measure and a Boobie Button from Hugs'n Kisses at Jordbærstedet...

And pattern.... of course I got me a lot of new Must Do items.... ;-) The book From my heart, with Natalie Birds signatur in andChristmas Angels from the birdhouse.A Norwegian patter called Lille sommerfugl ( little Butterflie) from a lady named Inger... Unknown from me. A pattern from Country Friends called Needels and Pins. A fresh one all the way from Houston made by Pearl Louise Design called Itty Bitty Baa! and at last a German pattern by Ursula Schertz called Weilnachtsfeen -Gardine. I love her pattern and have been collecting Patshwork magazin for a year just to get her stitchery patterns in them. I love her drawings...

Ok I think this will be all for the day... or may be week. I have something calling for my attention.... My SSCS.... A Miniature Swap and A SFRR who need the last to be done on them. They will all be out in the world next week.... and then I will go to visit my Brother and his family in Nice...
Have a great week. Have fun and take care...

Hei!
