This and that...

I'm with a lot of other ladies in Chookeyblues SAL 2015 and this are our Januar goal. Anni Downs free stitchery pattern. I made me a little wallquilt with a pocket for pen and paper. (For great Christmasideas)
One more finsh today.... AnnAKa pattern a little "book" for items to use when you are away from home..
I add a pocket (wonder why I always do pockets....hmmm ) where I put a little ruler,a cuttingmat and a rotary cutter...
A combined designer and iron plate, and a plate to draw on fabric and to glue EPP on. It is just to turn them. I also add some ribbon so I can bring my sicissor.
This Januar I have been able to get one of my dreams come thru....
I have been in Stavanger and been out by the ocean in a big storm. Later this evening it became hurricane.
You can see by the happy smile on my face how I feelt...I loved it. The wind, the sound, the saltwater..everything.. WOW
Look at the sea....
And here....
I was also so luckey to come out in the montains for a roadtrip.Oh it is so diffrent from the part of Norway where I live. In Stavanger it was green gras  and no snow. ( but they got storm, thunder, rain, sunshine over and over again )
At home I got snow......a lot of snow. To day there are cold outside,18.4 degrees below zero now.
Cold but beatyfull....great to stay indoors and stitch...

Gratulerer med ferdig stitchery! Lurt å lage lomme på. Moro at vi er flere norske med i SAL 2015.
Flott bok!
Ha ei fin uke!

No wonder you're inside sewing, it looks cold. Looks like a wild storm.

I don't know if I could handle all of that snow and cold!! The boat trip appears to be fun for you. I have a question - I'm going to be in Oslo in June and I wonder if you know any good quilt shops, fabric shops and yarn shops. I appreciate any help!!
