May...so soon...

'

I have been back to Stavanger,a different Stavanger than my last trip. Then it was Hurrycane now it was the most beautifull sunny days. It was a great trip with some of my greatest friends. A lot of talking, walking and some quilting. Lovely to see green gras and flowers,I still can see some snow and ice in my garden...
When I visit my mother yesterday she had found a tiny quilt made by me back in 1995. Funny to see how my fabrics has turned diffrent and so has my quilting style. This little housequilt are no more than 10x10 cm.
Here are my latest work. A tablerunner for my dinnertable. I'm with 7 other ladies who make blocks ,and exchange once a year. We have to make somthing with all the blocks to a show and tell. Sadly I could not meet them this year, but I send the photo on mail and got photos of what they made.A lot of great ideas.
I have been busy ( and verry clever ) with bindings in April... This quilt after an idea from Lori Holts Great Granny Squared book are made with Tula Pink fabrics. Her pattern and fabrics are so me ...
I have also manage to sew the binding on these two single bed quilts. I had to make all the blocks from Tula Pinks 100 Modern Quilt Blocks book.I made them only from my red scrap box the only fabric I had to buy was the red for binding and back and the black.

At last -- lately I have been playing with Kim Diehl fabrics and pattern. It is from Simple Whatnot Club 1 and 2 . The colours of the fabrics are so beautiful ,and I love making thes miniature quilts...and I got a lot of leftover to play with later... I love that...
I'still have a lot of bindings to do,so I have a goal to finish one every evening untill it is empty.... If I manage that, there will soon be more to show.... Untill then have a beautifull spring ( fall )
Hugs :-)
